Sounds Exciting! concerts are a great way to enjoy spectacular music, beautiful sunsets and fun summer nights with the whole family.
All seating is first-come, first-served lawn seating, with blankets and low-height lawn chairs permitted.
Season Pass holders will have access to our "Fast Pass" lane and will enjoy expedited entry into each show.
Concertgoers can bring picnics or enjoy dining options at food and ice cream trucks and the Beer Garden presented by Foothills Credit Union.
A water bottle refill station is on-site.

FOOD VENDORS
Affordable food options, will be available for purchase. Options include ice cream, popcorn and rotating food trucks featuring everything from gyros and tacos to burgers and more! Local beer, wine, and hard cider will be available for purchase from the Lakewood Beer Garden presented by Foothills Credit Union. The Beer Garden will be open at every concert with alternating beer selections.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Cancellation by Lakewood
The concert series is subject to change as a result of public health orders. If Lakewood must cancel a concert, your ticket purchase will be refunded in full.
Cancellation by Ticket Holder
In the event of illness or exposure, tickets are refundable in advance of the show less a $1 processing fee per ticket. Call the box office at 303-987-7845 to discuss your options.
In lieu of cancellation, please consider donating the price of your ticket to support Lakewood’s Heritage, Culture & the Arts.
Cancellation due to Weather
Concerts will be held rain or shine. In the case of severe weather that requires evacuation of the concert site and cancellation of the performance, your ticket will be available for a refund by request only.
In the case of questionable weather the day of the concert, we will primarily communicate via email to the email used in your purchase. Please watch that email for important updates.

Chris Daniels & the Kings are celebrating their 39th year with live performances. They have put out 15 albums and joined forces with Freddi Gowdy of the Freddi Henchi Band. Both Chris and Freddi are Colorado Music Hall of Fame inductees and have been making music history for generations.
You might recognize Lauren Frihauf from Season 19 of NBC’s “The Voice”. This indie singer-songwriter’s sounds of folk and neo-soul are a stark contrast from the Colorado farm where she lives and creates.

Chris Daniels & The Kings (now with Freddi Gowdy) are celebrating their 39th year with live performances over the summer, playing songs from BLUES WITH HORNS - their 15th Kings album and second with Freddi Gowdy of the Freddi Henchi Band. These two Colorado music icons both have their own spot in the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and have teamed up to deliver an unforgettable performance.
Chris has been recording and performing since 1970, first with Colorado's first jam band, Magic Music, and now with Chris Daniels & the Kings. He has appeared with the Garth Brooks, B.B. King, Vince, Gill, Amy Grant, Joe Walsh, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Oates, The Luminieers, Uncle Kracker, Blues Traveler, The Neville Brothers, and the list goes on.
Freddi and his band, the Freddi-Henchi Band alongside the late Marvin “Henchi” Graves grew their influence over the course of fifteen years playing venues across the western United States. It wasn’t long before they were named Colorado’s “Crown Princes of Funk.” Over the years, the two opened for iconic acts such as Steely Dan, the Nitty Gritty Band, Chicago, John Denver, and Earth Wind & Fire, just to name a few.

You might recognize Lauren Frihauf from Season 19 of NBC's "The Voice", where she made it to the Knockout Rounds on Teams Gwen and Legend, or lately, from her feature in NPR Music's Tiny Desk 'Top Shelf'!
Lauren's first original releases are part of a collaboration project, culminating in her debut album, 'The Latona EP'. Her songwriting is intricate, personal, and authentic, and her vocals have been compared to Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, and Amy Winehouse. Lauren's music is indie singer-songwriter with folk and neo-soul elements. The urban vibe of her music is a surprising contrast to the rural farm where Lauren lives and creates.
She is currently recording a solo project she can't wait to share with the world!
