Nosotros
has been one of the most recognizable Latin dance bands in the Southwest for over 20 years. They seamlessly combine Latin rhythms with elements of Rock, Salsa, Jazz and Cumbia to create music that is “not to be explained, it is to be felt in the pit of our souls” (Hyperactive Music Magazine).

Lakewood’s own, El Javi, incorporates elements of flamenco, progressive rock, classical, folk and many forms of world music to shape his unbound instrumental compositions.

New Mexico-based Nosotros has been drawing music lovers to their Latin groove sound for over 20 years. From what started as a guitar trio in 1994, they are now one of the most recognizable Latin bands in the Southwest. This Latin music powerhouse seamlessly combines Latin rhythms with elements of Rock, Salsa, Jazz and Cumbia creating an original sound that is unmistakably Nosotros. M.E. Schenck of Hyperactive Music Magazine may have interpreted their sound best by saying “Nosotros’ music is not to be explained, it is to be felt in the pit of our souls.”

They have twice been featured on NPR’s Alt Latino, twice been named winners in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Competition, been awarded 13 New Mexican Music Awards and have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music.

Opener: El Javi

North American guitarist, El Javi, defies music genres with his unbound exploration of instrumental music. The Denver based composer, producer and performer incorporates elements of flamenco, progressive rock, classical, folk and world music to shape his compositions. El Javi has been a supporting act for Ziggy Marley and today’s biggest voice of flamenco Diego El Cigala. He was a featured artist in Coors Light’s national campaign My Climb, My Music and participated in the International Guitar Festival in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. El Javi latest release “Whispers from Eternity” is the second single from the upcoming album “A Gypsy Journey Pt. III: Samadhi”. The final part of the trilogy. Available on all streaming platforms. Currently El Javi is promoting this release with a North American tour.
