Zikr Dance Ensemble presents Mysteries, Rites and Revelations

Zikr Dance Ensemble returns to the Lakewood Cultural Center with the company's premiere of Mobile, an iconic miniature masterpiece choreographed by Tomm Ruud, former dancer and choreographer with Ballet West and San Francisco Ballet. Also on the program is a reprise of Portals, the critically acclaimed work by Zikr Founder and Artistic Director David Taylor, on dance ritual in other dimensions, as well as a newly expanded staging of Sadhu, based on the holy men and women of India and Nepal.
