The Jazz Ambassadors is the official touring big band of the United States Army. Formed in 1969, this 19-member ensemble is one of the finest big bands in the world today and has received great acclaim at home and abroad performing America's greatest original art form, jazz. Based in Washington D.C., the band tours thousands of miles each year to promote patriotism and good will for the U.S. Army through free public concerts.
