See a masterful re-imagining of the classic opera, Carmen, by choreographer Gregory Gonzales. Carmen Suite is a 20th century tale of great love and great anguish for the chivalrous Don Jose who surrenders his heart to the fiery gypsy, only to lose her to the glamorous toreador Escamillo. Also on the program is El Sombrero de Tres Picos (The Three-Cornered Hat), a comedic romance set in Spain, performed in Spanish style with original choreography by Director Ilena Norton.
