Zz LCC Presents - 2019 - Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado
Thursday, February 21
The region’s only professional period instrument orchestra presents the musical riches of the 17th and 18th centuries in "A Taste for Baroque," from the orchestra's 2018-19 Masterworks Series.
With a virtuosic concerto from Telemann’s Table Music as the main course, the rest of the musical menu was chosen by audience voting. Guest artist Adam Knight Gilbert (recorder) and violinist Martin Davids lead the orchestra in a program of familiar Baroque favorites, inspired improvisations and rarely performed gems.
Tickets start at $20.
